Browser Extension

It can be difficult to find RSS feeds, even on sites you are familiar with. The RSS icon is rarely displayed anymore, however you can still expect most blog or news sites to publish one or more feeds.

Feed Ranger’s Browser Extension makes it easy to locate feeds, by scanning the site’s source code so you don’t have to. You can then subscribe to these feeds with a couple of clicks, rather than manually entering them into the Feed Ranger App.

Installing the Feed Ranger Extension

The Feed Ranger Extension is available for several popular browsers. Look under the Browsers heading in the sidebar for your preferred app. Follow the link to the appropriate store to add Feed Ranger to your browser.

Once the extension is installed, you’ll need to be signed in to the Feed Ranger Website and, on some browsers, grant access between the Feed Ranger Extension and Website. Simply follow the prompts to set it up.

Using the Feed Ranger Extension

  1. Click the toolbar button. Feed Ranger will scan the current tab for any RSS Feeds
  2. If one or more feeds are found, the Subscribe popup will open
  3. Select the feed you wish to subscribe to (only if multiple feeds were found)
  4. Select which project the subscription will be added to
